Description
"This page introduced the new X-Men to the world"
- Marvel: Earth's Mightiest Exhibition

The splash page for the story "Second Genesis!" reflected the famous image from the cover of this issue that was the very first appearance of the "All-New, All-Different" X-Men. The original X-Men view from a ghostly image overhead as the new team charges into battle. This is the very first interior appearance for Storm, Thunderbird, Colossus, and Nightcrawler. A historic page from Marvel history.

Pencil, ink, Zipatone shading film and a series of large stats on Bristol board. Image area is 10" x 15".

Signed by Dave Cockrum.

This is a great hobby, and anyone can collect comic art.  Buying a $20 page doesn't make anyone less of a collector.  But there is certainly an elite level of collecting that many of us (like me) will never reach.  Thank goodness this site exists to allow ALL collectors/fans to share their admiration and appreciation for extraordinary pieces like this.  Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

Definitely a historic pagea, as it is the final published page, but is there any original art on here or is it just all stats that  have been combined to make the title page.

Just wondering based on your description and all the comments.

"Are you kidding me"? (credit to Mike Burky of dueling dealers)  The splash  from Giant size 1? Going to have to stop looking at your galary after this I don't think it can be topped. Or can it?
