Description
My Wife recently got a new, short cut and had it bleached and highlighted pink, the shape and color reminding me a a flame and of an image that was familiar... hmmm, Yes, Nikki from The Original Guardians of the Galaxy. I googled and came upon a gorgeous inked image posted on Pinterest.
I looked it up on the CAF and it was still for sale. It was Jason Paz inks over Tans blueline. I contacted Kirk and came to a deal. He then contacted me to say that the it was sold. Oh No!!!! He did, however, have the original pencils if I wanted. Phew!!! Done deal!
From Wikipedia:
Nicholette "Nikki" Gold is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Nikki first appeared in Marvel Presents #4 (April 1976) and was created by Steve Gerber and Mary Skrenes. The character is usually depicted as a woman in the Earth-691 timeline of the fictional Marvel Universe, genetically engineered to live on the planet Mercury. As such, she has a superhuman ability to withstand heat and ultraviolet radiation, and can see clearly in very bright light. She is bald, although she expels body heat through her head in a low-temperature flame resembling hair in shape. She was the sixth member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and is noted for her acrobatic and sharp-shooting skill.
