Thor: Ragnarok

Excellent pic from a great bookby a master craftsman!!

Few can equal Walt’s sense of design, for sure, and although he always brings his A-game to whatever he works on, his Ragnarok is really special.  Having a SUPER cool demon head design piece from this run is a great add to your wonderful collection!  Congrats! 

This Ragnarok sketch is very cool! Getting actual Simonson prelim work is a real get! Thor Ragnarok was a great story, and it's neat that some OA made it out of that project. I totally understand and respect Simonson's no sale rule--not wanting to be left with no art--but it's tough when you can't get any of the pages you love. :) Congrats on getting one!

Thank you.  Yes, I feel very fortunate to have acquired this beauty.  It's pencil pack all the power and skill of Walter's ability to design.  I too respect his decision and am out priced at anything that now comes along.  I got this cheap on EBay from Greg Hildebrandt, whom I had the pleasure to meet and hang out with n NYC several years ago.  He is a nice guy who appreciates his fans.This now hangs framed in my studio so I can look at it's chilling power every day!
