Description

I was super excited to open this and it didn't disappoint. This is a great example of Platt's work when he was downsizing all the muscle bulk in his drawings while keeping the details in it. It is a visual representation of his decision to pivot away from the over the top "Image Style" of drawing and head into a sleeker more realistic drawing style. I think I got a great piece that highlights what is great in his older and newer styles.

I've asked my wife to pinch me a couple of times today. I never thought I'd land a Platt cover in my collection.

The work is of James Sunderland from the video game Silent Hill 2.
