Love this piece by Ellis!
The Book merely states "Dean Ellis, Untitled, from the artist's portfolio"

Thanks Zaddick! I knew about the Asimov book and they are two very similar paintings, but not a match. However, the Amazing Science Fiction - November 1980 is a perfect match! Thanks for the help in solving this mystery!
