Starman by Joe Sinnott

Christmas of 2004 I made simple request of my sister. I asked for the Joe Sinnott Sketchbook with a sketch by Joe of JSA member Starman.
I thought it would be neat to see how Joe interpreted the Golden Age character. Plus I had read that Joe likes to draw characters with capes so I thought this was a natural.
The only problem was my sister’s computer phobia. The bottom lime she did not do it. I thought okay I’ll do it in January, but there were holiday bills to pay, February came and went….Valentine’s Day took its financial toll. Then in March came news of Joe’s St. Patrick's day accident that kept him from drawing.
I could have kicked myself for not finding the money earlier. I stayed in touch with his son Mark and when the latest sketchbook was announced I was in line to get a Sinnott original.
Mark Sinnott informs me this is the first time that Joe has drawn Starman, so that makes this a true original!
