Description

Beyond thrilled to pick up this magnificent DPS. It's a perfect showcase for Bilquis' work, skill, and imagination. Her wholistic approach to the page really makes for an immersive reading experience. The work in person is beyond belief. She uses a combination of techniques to achieve very effective textures, depth, and lushness.

This page in particular features two of my favorite supporting characters from the Sandman Universe - Nala, an old favorite (beautifully revisited by Spurrier), and a new one in Dora.

Nice page! The way she lays out those panels adds to the scene. Gives it an ethereal feel.
