This is awesome! Don't remember this issue but now I want to look it up. I've always thought that Dwyer was underrated--and love Williamson's inks on him here. And any story by Ann Nocenti is always worth reading, in my opinion. Congrats!
Dwyer had such appealing talent and a style that worked so well and Williamson inking was ALWAYS great. This is a fantastic - unusual grinning DD from MY prime era! Arrgh! Bravo!

I have gone through page after page of Dwyer's work, looking at every inker displayed on CAF, including one of my personal favorites, the legendary Dick Giordano, and not a one of them is as good over his pencils as Al Williamson. This page is a real treat to look at.
