Beautiful ink work. Everyone knows Serpieri's work on Druuna, but his Western illustrations (and Story of the West) also highlight his talent as an artist. Nice find!

One of my regrets from proabbly 40 years ago was not getting some serpieri western art when it turned up in Chicago and was $200 each for ful lcolor ful lfigure finsiehd portraits - haven't seen any since so thanks for posting!

This piece is just awesome. Too bad his western stories are not as well known as Giraud's Blueberry. If he had stayed with one character like he did with Drunna I am sure his westerns would be more well known. Thanks for posting.
