Description
Ahead of time I want to apologize for failing to be able to crop the central image; there was no way I crop the TARDIS light at the top of the frame properly at this point. That being said, this is the second of three Doctor Who images commissioned recently, this was my most challenging piece IN GENERAL. Relying on photo reference for the faces and the TARDIS interior, and a lot of research on a blue light's influence on skin tone, I incorporated the largest assortement of Doctors I've ever attempted. To distinguish the background from the main characters, the TARDIS interior was rendered only with Copics and Prismacolor pencils. As to the composition, I took inspiration from "Flatline," in which the TARDIS exterior dimensions were reduced, trapping Number 12 inside. This time, it was four, hence 9 through 12 trying to investigate in their own unique ways. I'm extremely proud of this piece because it gave me the opportunity to express each Doctor with their distinctive personalities via body language and choices. One more image is left and I'm confident I will pull this off.

Their skin colors are a little funky but you did capture each of the actors pretty good. Gives me an igead for a Doctor Who commission.
