Beautiful piece! It never ceases to amaze me how great artists can show us some angle, aspect, or take on a beloved, popular character that we’ve never really seen before... There’s a dash of Terry Dodson and a dollop of Adam Hughes here, but whipped into a gorgeous watercolor soufflé that is all Mike McKone. Plus, an absolutely stellar Lockheed...? Fuhgeddaboudit! The white paint splash at the bottom just puts the whole thing over the top. Superb work! Many congrats on this one!
