El Kabong serenade by Julian Jordan

      Julian Jordan drew this scene of El Kabong as he plays the guitar and sings in an arena with a bull and a pretty senorita. Baba Looey and a man look down on the sight. I love these pencil drawings of childhood favorites. Julian is a Spanish cartoonist creating work for foreign markets. I discovered his work on eBay auctions put on by his brother cartoonist Mickey Jordan. Initially, I was drawn to his Kim Possible artwork, but he does great work on Warner Bros. and Hanna Barbera characters as well. Julian is putting on his own auctions from Spain under the forgacomicart seller name. My first purchase was a single lot of eight pieces. International shipping is very slow during the pandemic, but the package made it from Spain to California in three weeks. For my second purchase of one dozen Manna Barbera pieces, Julian tried another shipping method and the package left Spain on Friday and arrived in California on Wednesday. This piece is a ten drawing purchase and arrived in less than a week.
