Description

I never read Batman and the Outsiders when Alan was on the run, nor have I read his run on Detective Comics (I am slowly making it through the large encyclopedia of the Batman Library). I never really focused on non-modern Batman artists. However, I picked up the Batman Black and White Omnibus, and the list of artists I needed Batman art from steadily grew, and Alan's work shot to the top.

I picked this up through another collector here on CAF, and I am quite happy to add this piece to my collection.

The art is 11x17, rendered in pencil.
You can see some blue pencils lines where he did a rough layout.

Now, i'm trying to figure out the best way to contact Mark Farmer to get a copy of this bad boy inked.

Alan Davis and Bruce Timm are my favorite Batman artists. This is a wonderful piece! Congrats!

Nice! Double backhand punch! A unique layout, and I agree, getting Farmer inks, maybe on a blue line scanned copy, would match up nicely. Congrats!
