Avon Books around 1959- note a number of years ago I provided a high res full size scan of this painting to Maguire's daughter Lynn Maguire . Lynn did a handful of prints off the scan and still has a handful for sale along with 3 others she did of other key Maguire paintings - she can be reached at http://www.ramaguirecoverart.com/ She also has some prelim rough paintings and pencil prelims for a lot of his romance work. Thanks for the comments- this is one of my favorite pieces I own. Bob's Daughter Lynn Maguire is doing a book on his art and this piece and my other two (the noir piece in this gallery and the Sci-fi painting in the Maguire Hot women and guns article in the Forums ahve all been shot for the book. This piece also has a companion piece done for a Ace Double Detective that I sold for a friend several years ago- same blonde, same leotard stil ltopless but painted from the back- wish I could have kept that one- but you can't keep them all! (I think that deal helped get my only color Kelly Freas finished painting) Best George Hagenauer

I noticed this art and commented on this a couple of years ago and since then I've compelled to come back to it often and check it out. It may be one of my favorite Maguire paintings ever. Just exquisite.
