DescriptionVERY cool published cover art for a Spider-Man tradepaper published in the 1970s. The published book is a painted cover based off of this penciled/inked cover by John Romita Sr. (similar to how the 1968 Spectacular Spider-Man Magazine #1 & #2 covers were produced). Note: This information is per Mike Burkey. Also, this piece was published in the "Spider-Man's Christmas Super-Size Coloring Book" in the early 80s. It goes without saying that Romita Sr. is the definitive Spider-Man artist and one of the nicest men in comic history!Social/Sharing |
