Description

The image is a stat taken from a splash panel. It was reversed, enlarged and then touched up. So yes, not truly original art. But I hope to be forgiven for including it here because so little of Ann's art has survived. In CAF there is only one other entree with inking done by Brewster. She was an important golden age artist at a time when that must have been difficult for a female.

The theme of the cover is also very topical.

I agree that, altho it's a stat, given how hard it is to find examples of Brewster's artwork posting it is very valuable & I totally appreciate it! The recent Yoe/IDW Fiction House collection did not include a single page of Brewsters art, despite how the authors crowed about the women of Fiction House, Lily Renee was the only one represented. So, yes, a very rare *attributed* sighting! Thanx!
