DescriptionAuction 231! Online Feb. 2nd, Closes Feb 24th-25th 2021!13.25x19.75" Strathmore artboard has pen and ink original art by Mike Sekowsky with inks by Frank Giacoia/Joe Giella. Art is for page 38 of T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #4, published by Tower Comics, April 1966. Page from The Deadly Dust story features six panels, showing T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agent Lightning (origin and first appearance issue) speeding to battle the villain Baron Von Kampf (first appearance). Designed as typical German troops, swastika emblems edited w/white-out to change symbol. Top margin has handwritten issue/page numbers. Reverse has Comics Code Authority inkstamp and two stickers. Artboard has some scattered soiling/dust soiling at margins, upper left corner tip off and lt. crease along top edge but art remains clean and VF overall. Social/Sharing |
