DescriptionSimply must start off by saying THANK YOU!!! to both Mike Fogg and Lambert Sheng - without their able-bodied assistance, you wouldn't be looking at this sketch! Mike got the ball rolling with Oeming and Lambert did all the heavy lifting and I owe 'em both a ton. I'm a huge Powers fan - I bought an issue on a whim after hearing how great it was, and I've been hooked on Brian Bendis' writing ever since. Also a huge fan of Oeming's artwork - I simply can't imagine Powers with anybody's art on it other than his. And I have to admit, I love Deena Pilgrim. She's a great character, and I knew that if I ever got a sketch from Oeming, it would have to be of Deena. Luckily for me, via Fogg and Lambert, I now have that Deena sketch that I was wanting! She was drawn at Wizard World Philly (I think) in spring of 2004. Pencil and marker on 11x17 Bristol.Social/Sharing |
