DescriptionAuction 231! Online Feb. 2nd, Closes Feb 24th-25th 2021!Original 6.75x7.5" frame contains hand-inked/painted acetate animation cel setup that has been matted to 1.75x1.75". Setup features great image of Jiminy Cricket in birds' nest w/two birds. This is from scene where Pinocchio's lies cause his nose to grow to such an extent that it basically becomes a tree limb, complete w/bird's nest. Used in production of the 1940 Disney animated feature Pinocchio. Cel comes w/original Courvoisier-provided painted bkg. and original matte has neatly penciled "From Pinocchio" notation below matte opening. Some tiny insects trapped under glass. Fine overall, but image area still displays nicely. Social/Sharing |
