Description

Taking over for McFarlane, Jeff Purves has a relatively short run on the Hulk but I really love his art on the series. On this page Madame Masque demands proof her Dreadnaughts have destroyed the Hulk when she gets the surprise of a lifetime. Writer Peter David was early into his long run on the Hulk. And as a bonus, inked by the great Marie Severin.

Nice page. Jeff was sensational and unique and I wished he'd would have stayed in comics rather than leave for Hollywood after just a few years. Love Marie Severin but Jeff was bestvinking himself. Bravo!
