Mr. Miracle

Genius concept indeed. Congrats on this one. 

Absolutely love the fact that the borders of the page itself form the outer "cage" here.  Which is, I guess, the trap that every character of graphic fiction finds themselves in.  And of course, Mr. Miracle is the one struggling for freedom against that confinement - brilliant.  (Although I'm almost scared to ask...  Is there a Deadpool on the other side of the page, taunting Scott with the key? ;) ).  Absolutely lovely piece - congrats!

Great reference to the nine panel grid King/Gerads used in Mister Miracle. A great tool for claustraphobic storytelling while also being something that can wind up constraining the creators themselves if they're not careful, this piece seems to acknowledge both the strengths and pitfalls all at once.
