Description
In college I made this piece. Done with pencil & india ink, it literally took 24 hours of my life to make this piece over a 2 day period. Originally done my LB Cole in the 40's, this was my attempt to recreate the cover... adding my own personal touches!

Very cool. How about I buy it for $100k and you throw in a nice Ditko Spidey page in the deal. Then you can say you sold a piece of our own art for $100k!

Love LB Cole so I can appreciate this alot.

The career path untaken -- there's still time, West.

That's very cool! I love GA style work, too, and I'm impressed you could draw this. Cool stuff, West Stephan!

This is so much what I come here for, although I'd love to know more about the reasons for choosing this cover. Lots of different hatching techniques on display, and great L. B. Cole motifs - the monocle, the top hat, the skull and the candle. Thanks for sharing!
