Vooda 21 Splash Page Art

I had been looking for golden age jungle-girl art. Almost exactly 2 years ago, I came across this on eBay... a complete Vooda story; the third one in Ajax-Farrel's Vooda 21 (June 1955). The seller (who will remain nameless) did say that it had been "modified" and he showed the splash which had white-out on it. I figured, how tough could it be to clean up white-out. Turns out, pretty tough. And this person had gone through the story whiting out Vooda's sarong and redrawing her nude throughout the entire story. I guess having her swing through the jungle nude is no more curious than in a sarong, but really? Couldn't that have been done on stats or photocopies? Plus the paper is thin so I worried about damage. Does anyone know how to remove whiter-out??
