I don't know what you left go, but no doubt this is an amazing page and a stellar addition to your Gallery. Congrats!

Amazing panel page example with this great and eerie character and this superb artist at his peak in the 1970s from this virtually useless "Marvel took any hero that was not currently in any team" - short-running series. And also amazing that Mike gave you that one for free as you "thank" him in the description as an advertisment.

Yes shelton ! But in my time in France in the years 1977/78 the champions were very popular, I never forgot that memorable and dramatic episode. Too bad it did not last.

Marvel had quite a flair for cooky teams, but when you get Byrne and Layton on the same page, who could complain, seriously? Wise choice, my friend!

Big congrats! Hard to top a GR transformation page IMO, and by Bryne?! Even harder, to say the least. Love the way the top and bottom row panels sandwich that dynamic splash in the middle. Great stuff!

Quite a few of you made me offers on this Ghost Rider Byrne piece. I'm sorry, it's a Grail piece from my collection; it is not for sale !!

Welcome to the Byrne/Layton Champions club of avid collectors! We now bestow upon you full membership with this tremendous purchase from the Romitaman compendium of comic art. While not official, where would you like your no-certificate and no-prize sent for this exclusive club? Seriously though, this page has eluded me for years, but I have enjoyed it from afar in several collections over the years. May it stay in your collection the longest.

Thank you my friend, this piece has been a quest for grail for me. Believe me, it is not about to be released from my collection. I am proud to have it.
On the other hand, you even have a very nice collection 👍

I don't think I've seen a Ghost Rider transformation sequence as good as the one presented here. There's a reason why Byrne is one of the masters of the comic art form. Incredible page!
