Description
Wow! Wow! Wowzers! This is an illustration by "Big" John Buscema, This was done in 1995 as a gift for his grandson. His grandson later sold some of his collection, one of which is the cover for John buscema's book "The Art of John Buscema by John Buscema" that sold for $83,000.00 to "Big Time" Collector Albert Moy, and I was able to buy these from him also. The grandson told me that his grandfather was not involved with the Venom and Carnage character and that he did these for him because at the time Venom and Carnage were his favorite characters. In any case, I was lucky enough to acquire the art. To think? I may have the only illustration of Venom and Carnage by the master "Jovial" John Buscema.

Yeah, I can't think of another time he drew Venom. And how cool is it that he drew it for his grandson! Penciled, inked and colored by one of the greatest to work in comics. So nice. Congrats!

Such a unique piece, a nice gesture for his grandson.  The story behind it is half the fun.

It was a bit strange to see Buscema's versions of Tom Lyle's (for Venom) or Mark Bagley's (for Carage) but very cool nonetheless.

A fabulous, and incredibly rare piece of art. Venom by Big John? So cool!
