Description

A favorite from the 80s. I was about 15 when this came out so old enough to be interested but still young enough to think I was getting away with something. DeMatteis and Green absolutely killed it on this graphic novel.

One of the few books I still have from the 80s (along with Why I Hate Saturn), I've somehow managed to keep ahold of this treasure. Dan stepped waaaaaaaay out on the art. It's dense in places and fragile in others. Just a perfect job realizing a great, lasting story.

Bought this in '21 from Heritage Auctions.

Shamballa was such a wonderful graphic novel and the are was equally wonderful!
