From the Murphy Anderson Collection. Bob Brown and Murphy Anderson Superboy #192 "Superbaby" Story Page 4 Original Art (DC Comics, 1972). The infancy of Superman had been a staple of the series' early-1960s titles, and the theme advances here with a bold pairing of Bob Brown with Murphy Anderson. Super Baby featured in Panel 1, as he is about to save the forest workers from a Bear attack. Also of interest is writer Leo Dorfman's declaration that Superboy's "greatest weapon is his secret identity." Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 10" x 15".
