Description

NTT #26 was a milestone issue in that it tackled a serious social issue, teen runaways, in a super hero comic, and it also featured the debut of Terra. On this page Paul Taylor is tracking some mobsters who killed his runaway brother. Pretty innovative the way Perez shows the image in the binoculars (the right mirror image is a stat). Also some clever Marv Wolfman wordplay likening the roaring car to a dragon as one of the mobsters bears down on Paul.

George signed this on his farewell tour a couple years ago, and I was able to tell him in person what the story meant to me.
