DescriptionX OF SWORDS, PART 22The wheel of fortune turns. The unfortunate fall. A sword against the darkness. It really doesn’t get any better than this! Thank you Pepe, and thank you Miguel too! It is an absolute honour and a privilege to have this work of art in my collection. X of Swords was fantastic from start to finish. I can’t wait to get my hands on my copy of the hard back of the collected edition next month with Pepe’s epic cover. Every home should have one (or two!) It would have been a great event in any year but for the creators and editors to have produced something so good in such challenging conditions was a phenomenal achievement, and it was also a great escape for so many of us during such a difficult year. It was Pepe’s awesome cover for Free Comic Book Day: X-Men #1 which kicked things off, so it’s great to have been there at the start of the journey and pick up Pepe’s FCBD cover and complete the journey with this cover, the final chapter in the event. Thanks again Pepe! Social/Sharing |

Great to see all the extra pages for the process. I am still trying to understand Larraz's process. I really love his art from the X Books. I recently purchased a page of his, assuming the pencils were digital, didn't quite understand if the Inks were also done in same manner or if it is a 1 of a kind prints. I am X-Cited to see his page in personal to fully understand what I purchased.

Thanks James. Sometimes Pepe posts videos of himself on social media working on a cover or interior page. Absolutelly fascinating when he does! Sometimes it's original art, sometimes digital. If your page was from the recent Artcoholics art drop, first off, congratulations! I hope you will share it on here! Secondly, I think all the art in the recent drop was done digitally, and that will be digital from start to finish. He sometimes does very rough pencil prelims and thumb nails but these days, nearly all his work is digital, so picking up one of his monoprints is often the only way to collect his work. Congrats!

Thanks for the info. It's a page from his X of Swords Destruction saga, his work is so great so happy to have a representative piece. I will of course post on here. Cheers!
