Baller!
Indeed, since the 2017 posted hammer price listed on ComiLink is $130,000!
Another milestone piece! Congrats and thanks for sharing!
This classic cover looks even more beautiful in pen and brush.
An absolute monster. If you know, you know. Congrats!
So memorable and so gorgeous! Huge congrats!
Yeah man!! WOW!! Thanks for share!!
Very cool pickup!!
This is Johnny's wife, I'm writing on behalf of my husband who is currently curled up in the fetal position, rocking back and forth. I'm assuming this is a good piece of art? ;) Note: My husband just nodded in approval.
One of the most important and iconic covers of all time! Congrats Dinesh!
Phenomenal!
Beautiful brush work! I love that you could still see his father's style in his art during this period. Congrats!
So good.
Ummm....wow!
Nice!!
Its appeared!! BOOM! Mic drop man!
I always found this cover interesting. It's a significant non-Jim Lee issue in the middle of the Jim Lee run. It says 1986 but was published in 1990. And Andy's inking around this time resembled more of his father than his later work. Congrats on a historic piece.
I'm speechless...just speechless! Were souls sold in order to acquire this masterpiece? Either way, you, sir, are a legend! Congratulations!
Aye mon ami! Another phenomenal addition
Fantastic cover !!!
Well shoot! Ghost Rider followed by Gambit. Talk about winning the week or winning in life! Congratulation, D. Super happy for you.
Wow wonderful cover, congratulations
Wow!!! It does exist! So neat to see on this site, an epic cover to a historic comic, no words to say how cool this is, congrats!
congrats
One of my all time favourites.. awesome!!
When the first appearance inside the book isn't enough...WOW! Historically awesome, and a great first appearance cover. And I love that he's in the corner box, too. Brashly confident! Massive congrats!
Very memorable cover, love it! Congrats!
Wow Dinesh!!! Huge Congrats on this one!! Superb Quality :)
Great purchase! Will fit in well with your awesome collection.
Absolutely iconic cover and a fan favorite character! Congrats on this beauty!
So when do you plan on opening your museum...? ;)
Congrats, sir.
Classic cover
As you say, amazing detail. Very pretty cover!
Congrats on an epic cover. Definitely jealous, so slow down with the monster additions.
Incredible addition to your growing comic art museum. You have impeccable taste!
I blame you for crashing CAF!!! Just Epic!! Congrats Dinesh!
Just a beautifully rendered classic! Huge congrats.
That's a grail and a half. Huge piece and thanks for sharing.
Stellar piece!
Oh man, great cover image introducing such a unique (origin, design, etc) X-Man in Gambit! Huge congrats!
Awesome! Congrats!
Great first appearance cover. Congrats!!!! 8 )
Absolutely amazing!
The figures are cool, obviously, but the vegetation gives them both a setting and a grounding.
I'm firmly in the Gambit sucks school. I read all the X Titles and most Marvel titles at the time for continuity purposes, before I got sense and realised it was a marketing racket. The cover artwork is very nice though.
The day the X-Men got the coolest character on the team and to this day, all those who say he sucks still can't name a single reason on why that is without sounding like the inadequate self-conscious losers that they are.
You have the first appearance of the worst ever x-man. I used to skim past his terrible dialogue when reading the comics. The art is nice though...if you forget about his clown costume.
...Thanks for proving me right.
Another amazing slice of Marvel history in your museum-quality collection!
Holy Shite!
Surely theres a comma missing in the bottom right? 'Enter the mutant called Gambit!' sounds like a sexual invitation. Whereas, 'Enter, the mutant called Gambit!' or a grammatical alternative, works better. Still, Marvel are well known for their torturishly awful use of English, dating back to Stan 'The thesarus and dictionary peruser and user' Lee.
Interesting that this was drawn on Dec 4, 1986, but not finished or published until July 1990. Gambit is far more popular than ever, must suck to hate a character for no reason and continuing to show yourself as a miserable troll.
No. 54 is here for this incredible piece.
