Description"The Warrior" illustration by artist, Jo Chen. Chen was born in Taipei, Taiwan on the 4th of July and emigrated to the United States in late 1994. Working professionally in the Asian comic book industry since age 18, she burst suddenly onto the U.S. comic book scene with her art work for the Racer X mini-series, part of the iconic Speed Racer series published by Wildstorm/D.C. Comics in 2000. She quickly established herself as one of the industry's top illustrators producing interiors and covers for popular titles including Darkminds Macropolis, Battle of the Planets, Robotech, Fight For Tomorrow, Taskmaster, The Demon, Thor, (Batman &) Robin, Runaways, etc. She has also produced packaging artwork for Microsoft's popular FABLE and FABLE: TLC RPGs. She is the younger sister of artist, Christina Chen. Original artwork by any of the sisters is extremely rare and hard to come by as the majority of their creative process is done via computer... this piece in question was done specially for an art auction at Anime USA...
