DescriptionBlackest Night still remains my favorite event book of all time. I was amazed Rodolfo still had this epic cover for sale. It has everything you could want for a cover representing this story and the colors are fantastic. Based on Ivan Reis' cover to issue #2, this was the process according to Migliari: "DC sent me a Hi-Res file of the inked cover, I printed it out and traced it onto an illustration paper, made a few adjustments here and there and painted it."Social/Sharing |

That looks so amazing, can't believe it's done in watercolor. Congrats on this Cover.

Gorgeous cover! The paints give it a more organic and softer tone.

Phenomenal work! Reminds me a bit of Bolland art. Love the colors and all the textures! Congrats!!!

This is stunning! Is it as bright looking as the scan shows it to be? Because the printed TPB cover is so dull looking, I never realized it was a painted original. And Rodolfo still owned this up until very recently? Wow, if this reall is your favourite event series of all time, then this acquisition was a MASSIVE score!

Yes it is as bright as the scan shows. Most of his covers have digital retouches done to them, as that third additional photo shows. And yes I was just as amazed he had this posted for sale on his website, just bought it a couple months ago. Feel very likely to find and score this one.
