In the opening of the movie, Nausicaa is exploring the toxic forest when she hears a rampaging creature. Rushing to her Mehve flyer, she takes off to investigate and finds Lord Yupa riding out of the forest. This cel is the “A” layer and is largely obscured by Nausicaa on a “B” cel flying overhead. This is an ol.der acquisition from a great friend. A real standout among my many smaller and fragmentary Ghibli cels.
