DescriptionReally nice Astarita page that didn't make it into Planet Comics #24, published in May of 1943. The action that takes place on this page actually takes place off-panel in the published story. Likely they had to change things around to make more room for the cool opening page, or other story elements. I'll add in images of the published story, with its VERY abrupt beginning.BTW: When I was given this page looooooong ago, I was told this was by Graham Ingels. I don't see it. Looks like pure Astarita to me, and since Rafael illustrated the actual story, I'm going with that. Social/Sharing |
