Thrilled to finally add a published Mike Mignola Hellboy page to my collection, especially from Box Full of Evil (1999!). Here we see a brief discussion between the big red guy, Koku, Dagda, and Sir Edward Grey regarding that age-old "Are you the Beast of the Apocalypse?" question. Turns out some 25 years later... he's (still) not.

That old tree in the background is my favorite Mignola nothing. They are always creepy.

Agreed! Mike draws some of the best inanimate objects in the biz... if he ever put out a sketchbook of all the random furniture and buildings that he's drawn, I'd buy it instantly haha
