Description

The cover to Silver Surfer #4 by John Buscema is in my Top 10 List of Most Favorite covers.
Since I will not be able to own that cover, I feel this Esad Ribic homage cover is the next best thing.

Even though it is not as historic as SS #4, it is visually more appealing.

I like how Esad repositioned our heroes, with Thor striking down on the Surfer.

The power bursts from the Surfer's hands really make the center of the cover burst with energy.

You can feel the energy of Thor's swipe at the Surfer.

And, of course, Esad's painted art is really masterful. I love how he posed their action battle and how he added finer details to the space background all around.

The bleeding of the painted watercolor art into the borders add even more to the art.

I can't frame this cover soon enough.
