I think everyone's minds were already blown and getting these early America's Best Comics as it marked the return of Alan Moore to comics. Tom Strong was a best seller of the line as it had it's roots in classic adventure pulps and movie serials. That large panel radiates with occult energy and magic that Moore is a proponent of and the image could be used like a blacklight poster. Amazing work by Sprouse who's well thought out story beats visually translated the normally dense Moore scripting.
Marcus, you write so much better than the rest of us, that you should become an official comic reviewer. You have my vote, my friend!!
Nah, I'd just be happy if I can find as many Moore pages as you.
