According to writer Don McGregor, the writer of this issue, Graham drew this on vellum because he was not sure what Don wanted, McGregor liked it enough that it was pasted on to an art board and lightbox inked by Klaus Janson for the published book. These are Graham's original drawings that began his legendary run with the Black Panther.
