Wanted to post some better pics of these pages. One of my favorite series of all time, the short lived Major Bummer.

I just thought it was the perfect combo of unique and clever writing with brilliant artwork that pre-dated The Boys and Invincible and smacked around the super hero genre a bit with a few good laughs. Hope we get to see more someday.

Sharing the few pages I have - this one is part one of a pair of sequential pages from the fourth issue with the group eating lunch and a really nice half splash at the bottom.

Mahnke's art always astounds, but his dark humor series like this gives him more leeway to play with facial expressions and physics.
