DescriptionI won a piece of Vess pencil art from Anthony on Dueling Dealers and thought I should take a look at his site to see if I can combine shipping; lo and behold, I found a vintage page (1976) that fits well in this theme gallery.I haven't heard of the artist before, Gomez Demetrio Sanchez, but any affordable page with Spitfires is a candidate for my collection. The uniforms, gear, and planes are the highlight of the page for me. That's all a kid needs when imagining playing soldier. The spinning propeller lines are also a nice touch.
