Gotham Adventures was a continuation of the excellent comic adaptation of Batman: Animated Series that began with The Batman Adventures. By the time this issue was published in the early 2000s, the animated characters had undergone a redesign as evidenced by the streamlined Joker here. Fun stuff!

Other than Bruce Timm himself, I feel nobody did a better job in the Timm style than Ty Templeton. While he began as an artist on Batman animated books, Ty later did some great scripts including for this issue.
