Gotham Adventures was a continuation of the Batman: Animated Series books that began with The Batman Adventures. By the time this issue was published in the early 2000s, the animated characters had undergone a redesign as evidenced by the streamlined Joker here.

Terry Beatty was the longtime inker on these animated Bat books but he only drew one complete issue (this one) and a part of another. He did such a fantastic job with the Timm style I wish he would have drawn more issues.

Interestingly, this issue was republished in 2020 as part of the Batman 100 Page Giant #1 available at Target.
