After the Joker is safely ensconced back at Arkham Asylum, Gordon is all too happy to let him know that the news media didn't credit Joker for causing the blackout.

Gotham Adventures was a continuation of the Batman: Animated Series books that began with The Batman Adventures. By the time this issue was published in the early 2000s, the animated characters had undergone a redesign as evidenced by the streamlined Joker here.

Terry Beatty was the longtime inker on these animated Bat books but he only drew one complete issue (this one) and a part of another. He did such a fantastic job with the Timm style I wish he would have drawn more issues.

Interestingly, this issue was republished in 2020 as part of the Batman 100 Page Giant #1 available at Target.
