Description
Albeit a UK continuation of the MASK series from the US, this page is extremely well drawn by the hand of David Pugh (of Slaine) who was gracious enough to allow me to add this to my collection. I am not sure who may have inked it or if David did it himself.

I picked this one because it had the best image of the Miles Mayhem and his Switchblade chopper/jet which was my first (and favorite) MASK toy as a kid. Bonus includes smaller images of Vampire and Jackhammer, both vehicles I had as well!

Thank you David!

If they ever did M.A.S.K. with this kind of inspired creativity and execution in the U.S., they would have actually had a chance in the Toy, Cartoon, Comics arena that was dominated by other Hasbro and Mattel properties in the 80's.

Love all the 80's nostalgia you've been adding to your collection! This page has some impressive rendering.

As soon as I saw his page, I instantly thought it looked like a Dredd page to me. Then I saw the artist, and they'd worked for 2000AD. The pencils are very clean, and I really dig those inks. The vehicle and the city below is just superb inking. And that layout. You found an excellent page from the UK Mask. Congrats!
