Description

As one of the main artists on Marvel�s Star Wars comics in the late 70�s and early 80�s, Infantino�s prolific work expands to Marvel U.K. for its Star Wars weekly series. Although UK�s Star Wars issues were mainly reprints of U.S. produced stories and many of Infantino�s U.S. covers were reused, he got to create covers exclusively for some S.W. weekly issues, including several for The Empires Strikes Back adaptation. Since Al Williamson did all of TESB covers in the States, it�s really cool to see Infantino�s take on these adaptation covers.

Wow! I remember seeing this cover reprinted in an American magazine somewhere years ago. This is fantastic.
