DescriptionDark Horse Comics published three Star Wars Infinities mini-series in the early 2000’s, beginning with A New Hope, then The Empire Strikes Back and ending with Return of the Jedi. These series were not a comic book adaptation of the beloved classic trilogy, but rather like Marvel’s “what if…?” adaptation with shifting character narratives and alternative events taking place in the familiar space and time of the original trilogy films.Tony Harris penciled and inked the covers for all 4-issues of Star Wars Infinites: A New Hope. Interestingly, this first cover doesn’t show any hint of an alternative storyline like the subsequent three covers. It could totally pass as the cover for a A New Hope comic book adaptation. Not only is the montage work done with perfection, the light and shadow contrasts are inked masterfully by Harris. Social/Sharing |

Amazing montage cover. One of the best things Lucasfilm has done in 15 years.
