DescriptionIt's the Red Hulk vs. Woodgod as only Ed McGuinness can deliver! A battle page that's as fun as it is random; shows just how nutty comics can be! I'm quite a fan of Red Hulk-related art, so I always try and grab pages of the character, especially when they're drawn by McGuinness!Social/Sharing |

I think Woodgod fans are more rabid than Red Hulk fans. Fewer appearances and more frequent fights break out over the art.

I can't tell if you're being facetious haha I've never heard a single person ever mention Woodgod...like, ever!

Back in the Comicart-L days, big time collectors.

Woodrow packs quite a kick! I love that second panel of his cloven hoof sticking out as Red Hulk sails away into the stratosphere. And then OUCH on that last panel.

I loved Woodgod when I was just starting out as a reader/collector in the early 80's, after he mnade a couple of appearances in the Hulk, my favourite book and character at the time. Then I discovered that John Byrne drawn issue of Marvel Team-Up with Woodgod, which was also cool. Nice example of him unleashing some whoop ass!

You'll be saddened to hear that he immediately gets his butt kicked the following page haha! I didn't know Woodgod had such a following!

Oh, I'm not sad to hear that. As a kid, he was just a fun new guest star to have in the book. But for crying out loud, there's no way this character should ever pose a threat to any Hulk. As far a I'm concerned, Hulk still strongest one there is!
