J Scott Campbell - Amazing Spider-Man #606 Cover Black Cat (2006)

Sweet score! You made a dummy account? Awesome. Seller might have seen that tactic before to your point. But so happy you got a piece you love. Campbell shuts the game down with his art but his Spidey works are particularly legendary. Congrats! 

If nothing else, the piece is meaningful because it got you to join CAF.  But even without that cool backstory, it's an incredible piece.  Love Campbell, and love Spidey of course.  I think the bare background really adds to the heightened drama of the piece.  Really glad you got a second chance at this amazing cover.

Absolutely beautiful.  Campbell's art is so uniquely him.  Love the story - goes to show the old adage to be true - good things come to those who wait.

I also have loved this cover ever since I saw it. The story on this is worth the price of the cover alone, getting a piece that you have longed after is always so sweet. Congrats on this - Campbell brings all the sexual energy that this cover deserves.

So hot and pure Campbell.  This run of covers signalled that for sure that there was no chance he would be doing any more interior art.  If somehow you had gotten it before, it might have been graced with a sweet Stan Lee signature on it.  Alas, you will have to look at this and wonder what might have been.

I am in the school of not getting artwork scrawled on ( after a drunk? artist ruined some original artwork on me, when I asked him to sign it ) . A Stan Lee scrawl on this????? No, Marcus, get out of these type of art ruining ways. How many comics did Stan deface? I briefly bought into that scam when they were flogging all those signed comics. I regret buying them. Lets keep it as pure as possible. Leave the artwork alone. I will shoot, to save the artwork.

Unobjectively one of the best Campbell covers of all time.

I'm sure we're all curious what it set you back at the end of your 7 year quest, but no matter what you paid it was worth it.

I had a feeling you would one day get your hands on this cover you wanted to buy from me all those years ago, Huge congrat Duke! I wanted to sell my 5 JSC cover collection which is why i sold it to a Rep who wanted to buy all 5. It also gave me access to some art i wanted and still have in my collection. So NO it wasn't because you didn't have a CAF at the time.  ; ).

Pete having his own Betty and Veronica moment. I love how Campbell draws Spidey. A smidge cartoony, some nice fine details, a splash of 90s, and wala! We have a Spidey "cake" cover. Hawt. And the wrinkles and folds in the fabric are great details. Perseverance paid off. Big congrats!

Can't tell you how many times I bugged the caf collector who used to own it about 12 years ago, but it was a lot ! Needless to say, this cover is epic. My personal favorite by Campbell. Sincere congrats for this incredible score, I'm very happy it's in the right collection.For now ;-)
