DescriptionThis is the third Sub-Mariner 55 page I've owned - and the first keeper. Many issue 55 pages are heavy on Torg so not many nice Sub-Mariner pages. When I saw this one with that Everett sheen and Namorita too, I knew I was out some cash - glad Bechera brought some fresh art to LA!. Panel 1 is where Namorita gives Namor his earring.Social/Sharing |

You swung on the third pitch and hit a grand slam home run!
Such beautiful artistry happening on this page! Congrats Mark!

Beautiful Nov. 1972 published page from Bills late work and from one of the only 6 issues where he plotted+wrote, pencilled and inked the complete issues himself! Love his art from his Subby comeback in the early 1970s, huge congrats !

The art has a wonderful Golden Age feel to it. Will never get over how sharp and crisp Bill's linework is. As far as I'm concerned, any page from this book would be a keeper.

Every panel is perfect! They could not capture such richness on the published comic.

Namor with an ear piercing? What was she thinking? Not a good look with ears like that. Lol.

The whole page sings, but the last two panels - in my opinion - are money!

Bill Everett was an enormous master talent. This page to me is as sharp as his earlier work in the forties on Subby. Has all you'd want on the page.

You got a 1970s golden age masterpiece. :) Everett was still at the top of his game here. I mean, look at those last two panels. Stunning. Definitely a keeper. Big congrats!

Stunning page! That was a great run on Subby, and the lines really shine on this page. Superb!
