Description

From Christopher Uminga's The Creeps book I was not familiar with Chris' work when I saw these on Albert's site but I really enjoy Gene Wilder's acting and Young Frankenstein so pulled the trigger on Dr. Frederick Frankenstein.

Most were color watercolor pieces but part of 1970s Young Frankenstein's charm was that it was filmed in B&W so makes sense that this is in grey tones - 7X10 watercolor on arches paper Fits well enough in this theme gallery.

UPDATE...hey, what about having Gerhard add a background? WOW, I mean look at the difference!
(plain version as an additional image). I recommend taking a look through your collection and think about those without backgrounds what may be done to make your art even more special!

Fabulous! Did you end up with 2 pieces or he added background on the original?

I had him do it directly on the original - but for a more expensive piece I could see the alternate approach being better

I never get tired of watching that movie, and I already did it a dozen times at least! :) Very nice drawing, with amazing details!

The addition of a background works on this becuase the artist who did it is a real artist too and thought before he broke out his work tools. Note to collectors with mostly blank art pages. Do not let your children or less talented adults draw backgrounds on your artwork. Lol.
